What People Say
I've been attending the Riverview Park church of Christ since 1998. The quality of the teaching and preaching is exceptionally high. It is a pleasure and a privilege to worship and serve God with people who are looking to please Him.

What a wonderful place to be. I began attending at the Riverview Park Church of Christ in 2011. Since then, its members have become my family and some of my closest friends. The congregation is full of great people from many different backgrounds, and all have a common love in Jesus Christ. I have learned so much about the Bible here. The members are very knowledgeable and take great care in handling the word of God. I feel blessed to have them in my life.

I became a member in 2017 when I moved to Ottawa. I was welcomed with open arms! This is the kind of community that instantly welcomes you like part of the family. It is such a blessing to worship God and learn about Him with this loving group. Everyone prays and cares for each other. We have members with true servant hearts.

After going through many difficult times, at 33, the hardest thing I ever did was to walk into a church building. But I received love and grace. More than 40 years later, I still feel the acceptance and love. I thank God daily for His forgiveness and the support of a people who understand second, third and as many more chances as I need.

I was baptized in April 2006 at the Midtown Church of Christ, Baguio City Philippines. I landed in Canada April 2011 and thank God I found the Riverview Park Church of Christ here in Ottawa on the Internet. I started attending the church here and they became my family, my friends and my life.

As a visitor, I was welcomed with open arms. Once I moved here, I became a member of this congregation, and I was treated like family. I quickly saw the commitment and dedication of the members. I saw their love for the Lord and for the truth. Over the years, I’ve made many wonderful and lasting friendships.

We were assigned to the U.S. Embassy for three years and were so blessed to find a God-fearing and Christ-loving church of Christ in Ottawa. We felt so welcomed and were able to truly worship with Brothers and Sisters in Christ where we grew in knowledge of the word. Although we returned to Georgia in the summer of 2018, we recently "Zoomed" in for a lesson and it was like we never left. We miss our Riverview Park COC family dearly.
